Spotting

I got up to take a walk and my right side of my body had a sharp searing pain in the uterus area. I felt a wetness. I checked and its spotting. Reddish and brownish. Hoping its not what I think it is. Should I keep my feet up? I think I will. Should I call the doctor or is reddish-brownish okay? They can't do anything right now, I guess tomorrow I'll make an appointment. Sorry for weird prose. Weird state of mind. Hoping all is going to be okay. . . just hoping that, well, you know.

  1. I spotted with my first two pregnancies. I bet it's the little one burrowing in for a comfy stay. Sending up some prayers... hang in there.

  2. Thanks Sunny-- I think I had some spotting with W too if I remember correctly- I guess when I see anything of the red-pink color I get a little freaked out. Hope its not taking things to a dramatic level to ask to be checked tomorrow to make sure all is well. Sigh.

  3. I always had spotting, too, even though all was well. Scary, I know!! Hang in there and I vote keep your feet up and call the doc, just to be extra safe. :) Prayers your way!

  7. I had tons of spotting with Hen, and obviously, everything was fine. That said, I was terrified every single day and my heart still clenches up at the memory of how awful it was to see, so I know how scary it is. I say, yeah, call your doctor, ask for a reassurance scan. Given your history they should be happy to offer one. Thinking of you.

  10. I spotted enough with my second pregnancy that I thought I had a light period the first two months before realizing I was pregnant. And my ob said it was normal. I'm sure it's the same for you. As Katery asked, please keep us updated.
